In my defense...

I wasn't kept up by my research, the topics were genuinely interesting to me (at least this morning)

Is it weird that these seemingly morbid topics don't freak me out. I think it is interesting to see how society and its values have changed over time. Did you now that right now no one in CA can be executed because it was ruled that the lethal injections must be administered by a licensed medical practitioner, and they are ethically prohibited from performing executions, so those on death row will just be stuck there until someone finds a way to resolve the situation.

If you are against capital punishment, this could be a good thing, if you are for it, you might feel differently.

I kind of find some weird things interesting. Did you know that if I didn't study Russian history I would either study the history of epidemics or criminal history, I have a few books that look at execution methods, and I think it is interesting. It always makes me sad because I am in general not one who likes to see people killed, but I still find it fascinating.

OK I guess I am weird. Whatever.

I am excited for the whole retreat thing this weekend, and I am taking my melatonin with me for my roomates sake!
