Anise cookies mmmmm

Well, today started random, was very long and is going to end shortly.

I overslept for the first time in years. While I was busy oversleeping I had a weird dream in which I worked at Walmart, rage quit and beat the absolute snot out of one of my coworkers. None of these things would I ever do (even though I frequently fantasize about rage quitting) And the violence of it disturbed me. When I woke up I discovered my alarm had been going off for over an hour but I didn't realize it enough to wake up. I had 45 minutes to get ready and get to work and I live 25 minutes away, lets just say that I kicked absolute multitasking butt and got myself ready and out in record time.

My morning blood sugar was 8 points above the upper limit that the doctor gave me as a goal, but not terrible. My afternoon reading was the lowest one I have had yet, but I know that is because I ate lunch nine hours before I tested, and only had two clementines and some smart pop as a snack. Still working on balance, but I think I might be getting the hang of this. This is my first day of taking all of my diabetes medication. I should have been taking this much a long time ago, but my body is cranky. Hopefully it will behave.

Work was long, but not overly terrible. I am still having an absolute bear of a time with seeing addresses after dark. It slows me down considerably. A kind woman gave me a bag of holiday treats as a snack because I was out working so late. Yummy anise flavored cookies! I LOVE anise flavored things. I am sure they are super carby though, so I shall have to enjoy them over a few days.

I am super sleepy now, and am heading to bed shortly.

Afood recap:
Breakfast: One mini bagel with cream cheese, about a quarter cup of soy eggnog.
Lunch: 2 broccoli chicken breasts
Snack: smart pop kettle corn, 2 clementines
Dinner: taco bell, anise cookie mmmm
