People at work are more angsty than Harry Potter in Order of the Phoenix. It is crazy. For the most part, people are trying to use our senses of humor to get through the madness with our sanity intact. But some people (who to protect my job will remain nameless) are super grouchy. It doesn't make for a fun day when you have to walk on eggshells.
My day did not go as planned. A couple of people called out so I had to carry a route. No big deal, I like money. It was a route I hadn't carried quite all of before, and although I got the majority of the mail delivered, I have a huge parcel run to make first thing in the morning. This night blindness nonsense is for the birds. :/ Do your mail carrier a favor, make sure your house number is visible, even in the dark. It would have made my life so much better if I could have found the houses this evening.
Food:
Breakfast: Pizza bagels! Mini whole wheat bagels with sauce, cheese and pepperoni. (45) delicious!
Lunch: Cheese tamale and chicken(27) one Christmas cookie (5)
Dinner: Taco Bell (don't judge me) (36) It's fast, cheap and easy and relatively low in carbs.
My senior year of high school, my friends and I ate Taco Bell every day for almost a year. Seriously, it was every day. Some days we had to pay in pennies, but we went there every day. The manager's name was Chuck and we were seriously on a friendship level with Chuck. I have been there almost every day this week, and I may have to set myself the goal of not going tomorrow.
After doing parcel runs tomorrow I have therapy. I am looking forward to it, although I kind of hope I have some time to pre-ponder my thoughts before I go expounding on them. I feel jumbled and while therapy is all about my mental purging, I think I will get more out of the session if I am not bouncing from thought to thought as much.
I am going to wrap this up because my power really wants to go out, and I need to wake up stupid early tomorrow.
