Work: Today I did parcel deliveries, and got to start at eight so I could go help pick up a truck from the mechanic. Then bossman told me I could stay and case, but I only ended up casing for an hour or so, I reached my enough is enough point and had to go home. Tomorrow I go in at 7:30 to do parcels again. If it is as cold as it was today, I need to wear thermals tomorrow.
Life: So far, no panic attacks today, one started but I was able to calm myself down pretty quickly, so we won't count that. I didn't even need to take my pill. :)
I had a nice loooooong talk with a friend, she had some new and good insights about everything, and I appreciate the extra input.
Health: tested my blood sugar both times I was supposed to today. AND tonight I did it without having to stab myself twice or wasting any strips. Success! I am going to have to buy my next set of strips on my own, so not having any read errors is important. While not as fabulous as I would hope, my numbers are acceptable, going to work on getting them even better.
Food: Standard breakfast, Chicken and Rice Soup with string cheese, and crudités for lunch, snack was a clementine, and I had my imitation Abuelita and some chicken strips for dinner. The chicken strips were my standard shake n bake with extra spiciness, and I wasn't super hungry so I didn't have anything else as a side. Today was a good food day. I didn't feel super deprived and definitely stayed within my carb limits. The crudites are a good start, but I should probably have had more veggies with dinner, but honestly didn't want any more food. Working on getting my 3 liters of water in (do not want another kidney stone)
I am probably going to bed early this evening, because I am already tired, but might read for a while first.
