weekend recap

Work: I finished delivering the mail for my route by myself yesterday. I did have parcel help, but at least I got the mail done on my own. Today I carried parcels for 4 routes because the magical Amazon machine was broken, so it didn't separate the parcels into special Sunday routes and give us driving instructions. This made it a little harder, but it all got done. I did give my new work homie about 10 of my parcels, he only took 3 routes and got done early so he lent a hand. I am pretty comfortable with my ability to case and carry two of the routes, and I can comfortably carry 2 more. I have carried on a few more routes, but don't know them well enough to case, and haven't seen the whole route yet. Doing better, still need improvement.

Health:
I was successful testing my blood sugar for the first few times, then suddenly just couldn't do it. Today I tried again, and still couldn't bring myself to push the button. So I had the brilliant idea to ask my friend at work to do it. Way less stress for me to be perfectly honest. I did do it myself tonight, and can hopefully do it on my own tomorrow. I told my boss not to count on me coming in tomorrow, so I can stay home and try to kick the butt of that which is kicking mine. She wants me to come in if I am feeling better, and I will, but I would not count on me being there the way I feel this evening.

Other than that the past few days have been pretty mundane. I am feeling slightly more in control of my emotions, but am still looking forward (not the best way to put it) to talking to a counselor on Tuesday. I really want to see if we can get me feeling more in control and I would love to be able to transition off of the pills sooner rather than later. For one thing they are freaky expensive (Thank goodness for insurance) and for another, I don't like to need something that alters my mental state. Even if I do admit, it is helping. :/

Food:
Yesterday: Standard breakfast, stuffed chicken and green beans for lunch, baby carrots and clementine for snack, mcdonalds for dinner. triple cheeseburger (same carbs but more food) small fries and diet dr pepper (I tried to eat some string cheese at lunch but it was weird and I spit it out)

Today: Standard breakfast (I told you guys I eat this every day) Lunch: chicken strips and one sugar free choc pudding cup (carbs are unknown, but assumed to be < 45 g based on standard chicken strip counts) Dinner was tortilla soup, tea and a small piece of speculoos candy bar.

If I end up staying home tomorrow, I might make some french toast for breakfast, or soyrizo burritos which I can then freeze for future meals. Mmmmm Soyrizo.
